2024 - 2025 CPE REQUIREMENTS
Please refer to the following chart indicating the CPE requirements for the 2024-2025 accreditation year. Please be aware that anyone who has not fulfilled the new requirement by the end of May, 2025 will still be required to submit their Annual Report Form to their State CPE Coordinator by May 31, 2025 and indicate any plans to attend any state/ regional or national education opportunities. Once they fulfill their total number of CPE hours and the number of Clinic hours according to their rating, they need to re-submit their Annual CPE Report so they can be considered for judging assignments after August 1, 2025.
2024 - 2025 CPE CLARIFICATIONS
WHAT YOU NEED TO KNOW -
- CPE is still due to Kevn McNamara by May 31. If you've already submitted it, you do not need to send in an amended form to reflect the adjusted requirements. Kevn will adjust your carryover hours on the master form and you should adjust your own form so you can refer to it next year.
- Only 1/2 of your required CPE clinic hours can come from webinars and/or online courses. This has not changed even though the requirements have been adjusted for this year. Here are the maximum webinar/online course hours allowed to be claimed under the new adjustment.
- Levels 4/5 and 7/8 ratings can claim 1.5 hours max
- Level 9 ratings can claim 2 hours max
- Level 10, National and Brevet can claim 2.5 hours max
- All webinar/online courses must USA Gymnastics approved and can only be used once for CPE credit.
- The USA Gymnastics Technical Committee will discuss next years' CPE requirements at their upcoming meeting. You'll be notified of changes once and if they are decided.
